While I agree with you in theory, unfortunately in practice, it doesnt work a well. Sometimes we DO need to appeal to everyone to not make one side’s fefes hurt. It is dumb, but it is how we get more middle ground folks instead of right and left folks.

I think he is the perfect vehicle for this. He has a HUGE audience and overall is pretty well liked. If we can get MORE people who have a big audience to tell these stories maybe we can finally get Republicans to STFU.

Not input, but they do listen to statements. Some states do these victim/criminal meetings which allow some victims to get closure. Just about every state lets you have a victim impact statement.

You also need to look at the change. 16% MORE poor people who make 30k or less voted for Trump than they did for Romney. 6% MORE people who make between 30 and 50k voted for Trump over Romney.
