Poseidon II

Weekly BranFic:

GROOT

I suppose you could say this scheme turned out to be more of a [pause for effect] "lead zeppelin".

[A Joke]

I've said it elsewhere on this thread, but if they stick to the conceit that the TV Show/Film is different iteration of the quest, I'd love to see Ron Howard and Brian Grazer incorporated into the story replacing King's character.

Bad Girl RiRi for Susannah or gtfo

All I want is for this incarnation of the Dark Tower quest to feature Ron Howard in the place of Stephen King within the story. DOPE AS HELL.

Baby won't you drive my Ka.

The Wastelands OF DICK

come come commala

Thank you Tom Wahl. I'm sure that will be taken into advisement.

As an Assayas fanboy I feel the duty to wave the flag for "Something in the Air". Another masterpiece as far as I'm concerned.

God that movie was stealthy-good. I totally thought the plot would be about Liam Neesons rescuing his wolf-daughter from Serbian nationalists; but surprisingly it turned out to be a mediation on temporal mortality and the human condition through a Nietzsche-ian lense. When in Nome…

I shot.

I'm gonna fucking shoot…

Agreed. Not sure if it was the all too elaborate diorama set-pieces, the unnecessary cameos, or the story bloat; but yeah, this.

Everything William Hughes said. I love Wes Anderson as much as (if not more) than the next person, but Grand Budapest was by far his most pastiche-y, and least "human" film.

Can you dig that? I knew that you could.
