The uber rich, police commissioners, journalists...this shit sounds like a party at Wayne Manor. How come the Joker never crashes these types of events IRL?

I made the mistake of commenting after I only read the first part of your post, and then I couldn’t edit or delete my post. I agree with you.
There’s a conflict in terms. When people say Serena’s the greatest ever, they don’t mean, literally, she’s better than the guys (only an idiot would actually think that). What they mean is, even considering the depth of competition, era, everything, is her accomplishment the greatest? Was it harder for Serena to…
I hate when this shit gets brought up. It’s just a meaningless way to denigrate female athletes. Who cares? We fetishize college basketball and football, and they aren’t the absolute best of the best either.
She doesnt even need to be forced, she volunteered her opinion on the subject to David Letterman.
I’m actually not so sure what Serena believes. Maybe not Novak or Murray, but she did think she could beat a 200+ ranked men’s player all the way back in 1998 (she was very wrong). I’d say she definitely believes she’s better than #700, I’d even venture she’d say that she’s at least top 100.
I think if you took her qualities and instilled them in a body genetically male, she would smash all of the men. It’d be like if LeBron played tennis. It isn’t his fault he’s both tall and built like a tight end, and that he is an outlier physically. Yet he can outperform the average doing the same basketball moves.…
You’re a VERY bad man!
Look at how this question was setup:
Regardless of whether McEnroe is right or not, it’s just a stupid discussion. There’s no point to it. They’re separate sports, and I think it’s dumb to delegitimize Serena’s (or anyone’s) accomplishments with these sorts of comparisons.
What did he say that was so bad? He was asked a question. His point is that Serena is a much better tennis player and could beat a random pro guy here and again due to her mental toughness but if she played the tour she’s simply be overpowered.
19 million for a 34 year-old Noah is a very strong argument. I rescind Delly from this conversation but reserve the right to bust on him forever.
There is no chance in hell that contract is anywhere remotely in the neighborhood of badness that contains Joakim Noah’s contract.
This is a lot better than his cousin Sebastian’s trailer, which is harder to see because the police impounded it.
He must be both mentally and physically exhausted, and totally without answers. How do you beat a super team by yourself? Lebron should be pissed at his poor luck, but also proud of himself. This Warriors team is a juggernaut. He’s played about as well as a man can play, and his team is still most likely about to get…
If I’m LeBron and Kyrie Irving I’m looking at everyone else like “did you miss the memo about the finals starting?” The role players have been basically non existent and even their big 3 has yet to have a game where they all score over 20. If the Cavs want(ed) to have a chance in this series LeBron, Kyrie, and Love…
I’m sure he feels bad just because they’re getting stomped, but I don’t think he failed, and I bet he doesn’t think he failed.
Except for when he inadvertently tried to take out LeBron with a shoulder to the head.
Spoiler Alert: Tristan Thompson was a ghost the whole time.
There are worse problems in the world, obvs, but it must be a terrible feeling to be THAT GOOD, and to work THAT HARD, and to do it THAT PUBLICLY, and to still essentially fail miserably (not his individual performance, but the fact that they’re down 3-0).
