Except a completely devastated Cavs team without Irving and Love won 2 games against a healthy Warriors team in the finals last year (same Warriors rotation as this year) and hung around late in several of the other games too. I just don’t see how you could watch what Lebron almost pulled off basically by himself

I think they’re way undervalued as it is though, and the recent developments just reinforce that they’re still one of the most plausible — if not now the most plausible if Curry stays out for a while — title contenders.

Are there... gasp... binders full of them??

Its almost as if their epic 2nd half collapse 4 days ago against Boston, in which they blew a 26 points halftime lead, never happened. Oh wait...

Ok fair point

I’d also point out that Thabeet was good in college largely in that he was a head taller than everyone he was playing. Its a lot easier for a skinny 7'3" dude to look like a dominant rim protector and rebounder when he’s going up against skinny 6'8" dudes who are the centers on many of the weaker teams they played,

Good point. Favors might be one of the “potential” guys that eventually seems to be panning out though. It took him a damned while to get there, but he’s a very good, high-end starter-quality NBA big now.

yes, perfect example of what i’m talking about. coming out of college it was clear he wasn’t going to be a super star all-nba guy. but it was also clear, from a huge body of work in high profile games over multiple years, that he was a very very good basketball player. and guess what? he’s a very very good, but

Yes, Skal is a perfect example of the type of all hype/potential, no actual game, player I was talking about.

The Kings drafted Thomas. Ainge traded for him at last year’s mid-season trade deadline.

I mean, they traded George Hill to move up into a late lottery pick to draft him. So he was *technically* drafted by the Pacers, but the Pacers were drafting for the Spurs. This happens whenever there is a draft day trade. The team that ends up with the guy is usually the team most analysts talk about having drafted

I’m sure someone at 538 has already done a study on this, but the thing I find funniest about the NBA draft is that every year 3-4 guys get taken in the top 10 who are not actually good at basketball in any demonstrable way because they “jump out of the gym” or have that elusive “potential”. The Tyrus Thomas’s and

Yeah.

But... but... but.... The Process (tm)!

She has not be anointed by the media. She’s been anointed by the voters. More than half the country has held primaries. She’s won literally millions more votes than he has in those primaries. She has an enormous delegate lead on the basis of that. It has nothing to do with the superdelegates either. Even if you take

i get where you’re coming from, and its totally reasonable.

I mean, she does send other tweets, including many tweets today. And many of them are still very much the vote for me because i’m inspiring thing, as you put it

Of course if she ever implied that she was perfect, you’d be upset at her for that too.

Do you deny that poor people would be worse off under a conservative Republican president than under a Democrat? That’s all she’s implying.

Via an anti-government conspiracy theory? Duh! That’s their bread and butter.
