Being consigned to apple arcade means this game won’t get the players it should, too bad

I know it sounds silly, because it’s a LEGO game, but it sounds like it’s a pretty ambitious project. They’re basically remaking 5 previous LEGO Star Wars games, and hundreds of playable characters, and combining them into one game. That’s a lot of work. And plus there’s COVID probably slowing down production.
Not to mention the incredibly facist themes and ideals in the story itself. That said, I've still enjoyed the story as a whole and that enjoyment is not in support of those ideals.
Turns out the Nintendo/Sega war never died - they just moved from consoles to competing for the title of biggest dinosaur.
Even this far into the new millennium, there’s such a wide generational divide in the understanding of technology that I’m beginning to doubt that I’ll see copyright law for IPs on interactive mediums handled and enforced in a way that is satisfactory for the rights holders and those who use the product in my lifetime.
I do not condone hacking any hardware that’s currently being supported, but when hardware is discontinued and the storefronts are shut down, when you cannot legally buy the things in a way that supports the people who created them, as far as I’m concerned it’s open season on modding.
and thus, there goes the only way to legally buy PS One games digitally as they arent available on the PS4 or PS5 stores. This is the main reason why I have kept my PS3 and my Vita. Now if Sony announces those games and others that dont have ports will soon make their way over to newer consoles than this would be…
This is absolutely what the should fucking do. Especially for exclusives that have had no ports
Would be cool if they did a huge sale before closing the stores so people can get some games they missed out on. Not going to happen though.
Thanks for the explanation. As I don’t play any pvp online games, I’ve never heard of the term
Penny Arcade is WAAAAAAY too on the money today.
The Nintendo 3DS is probably my favorite console/handheld/whatever ever. Customization was great, the Miis were put to WAY better use, and the remakes of Ocarina of Time and StarFox 64 were amazing.
Sega needs to get around to remastering or at least porting quite a few games (hint hint Skies of Arcadia).
And yet, great single player games keep getting made and selling well.
Look, I’m all for throwing out gatcha and loot boxes and such, but have you played this game? I played it for a week straight when it came out, and have never spent a dime. I’m impressed with the quality of combat, the world, the story in place, the voice acting, etc. I easily put 60 hours into that game during the…
TBF Genshin is more SP and story oriented than quite a few games.
My thoughts exactly about his line saying no one wants to play as an Iraqi civilian. I mean, for one thing, This War of Mine did very well for itself and almost certainly sold more copies than this war crime simulator could ever hope to.
This is inevitably what will happen when games touch close to reality. It’s weird to me that the guy says “No one wants to play as an Iraqi civilian” because I’ve felt for awhile now like a “role reversal” situation could potentially make for a very solid survival game. Like imagine a game set during the Rwanadan…
I think the scarier thing is that this game has a market, not that it was made.
he turned his camera on downed individuals and implored viewers and bystanders to call 911.
