90 years or whatever isn’t reasonable. No human being can take advantage of terms like that.

Yeah the Fatal Frame community is freaking out, since their ports on PS3 were one of the last ways you could legally play the first 3 beloved games. Since Nintendo bought the IP, it seems it gave up after 5 (which still hasn’t been ported to switch, and still costs over 50 bucks on the WiiU storefront).

At this point,

Could you get the PS4 version used from eBay/etc then get the free PS5 upgrade?

If it was a Kirby game getting cancelled, it would suck.

Psst, the game coming out on Friday is Balan Wonderworld (not Wonderland, as currently spelled above).

I feel like this was a poor decision. If the upgrade was 20$, I would gladly have already given them money.

at a time where people are still apprehensive about in person events

Earlier in the week I was required to swing by the office, and I realized that it was the second time that I’ve set foot in the building in a year. The company seems ready to start shoving bodies behind desks as soon as possible, even though the most recent survey showed that 40% (!) of employees didn’t plan on

I remember the two big events that really drove home the “shit got real this time” for me.

I’m checking amazon.co.jp like every week for a home release preorder of that movie.

They have previously said that the headset will connect to the PS5 with “only one wire” but this announcement implies communication between the headset and the controllers more akin to the Oculus Quest.

I’m putting money on the first version of PSVR 2 being wired, and then they release an attachment that allows full

My Vive Pro doesn’t rely on onboard processing and is wireless, but I had to purchase a $300 wireless adapter on top of what was already an expensive setup in order to gain that functionality.

A lot of which is due to the fact it’s written by a woman.

Wishful thinking, but it would be awesome if the headset ended up being wireless. Either way, I’m stoked Sony is continuing with the PSVR2. My wife got me one for the PS4 last March just before COVID, and it’s been a blast.

I’m definitely not complaining, but I’m surprised by how fast we went from “Well, VR is cool, I’m sure we’ll do something with it again eventually” to “Yo, we’re totally doing a whole new headset, check out these new controllers” seemingly out of nowhere.

Between HZD and Octopath coming to game pass, this is a banner week in me putting off buying a game only for it to become free.

I know one studio can only do so much at once, but I hope Respawn is around long enough to make a lot of games, but not long enough to go south like a lot of great developers eventually seem to.

Next go for a Grammy, Respawn. You can do it.

I think it’s a beautiful, enchanting game. It does a lot of things right and the open ended way of journeying around picking your party is nice and I think it’s clever. Unfortunately the plot is just so... so boring, and trite, and the dialogue is awkward and stilted (one of the characters is especially guilty of

Octopath is a wonderful game but narratively it was one of the biggest disappointments in recent memory, to the point where I just stopped caring and stopped playing right before the final boss. Maybe I’ll pick it up again and try a different party since it’s coming here (nice surprise to me). Or I’ll finally get to

Never heard of it, but that icon makes me want to Yeah!
