New additions are listed on the Xbox Website--the only counterpoint I could think of to your request is that titles are revealed twice a month, so there would be more Game Pass articles than PS+ ones.

A few counterpoints: As others mentioned, you could buy the game outright (you get a discount, but on PC you’re forced to have the game as a Windows App), and additionally plenty IPs outright owned by Microsoft whose games will likely never leave Game Pass—I’d be shocked if Master Chief Collection ever leaves the

The “bite-sized novels” bit sounds like one of the best features of Sakaguchi’s Lost Odyssey, so I’m excited.

And so does PlayStation Video, at least until this August.

The fact that I can’t definitively tell you yes or no without googling it shows just how poorly-conveyed this brand was. I would imagine so, but this content was always buried in the PlayStation store, so there is a chance that it would only work on PS devices.

There are plenty of films that aren’t on any of those services. The issue, at least for me, is that PSN is still more limited than, say, Google Play or Amazon--there are a lot more devices that can run those apps than devices than can play PSN movies.

Dumb question from a guy who doesn’t have a Roku: If you’re writing for this site, I feel it’s reasonable to assume you have a modern PS or Xbox console. So why would you use a Roku for streaming or video? What does Roku have that my PS4 doesn’t?

I feel like this wouldn’t negate anything, but you would have to use your disc version to play on PS5.

I doubt it. The licenses for physical and digital games are different. I’ve had a few games become free on PS+ after buying their discs, and if I wanted to play the digital version I had to delete the physical one from my hard drive.

This looks like a very intriguing evolution for the series, but man that footage was rough.

Aren’t the PS+ games different in each region? Why would the banner use “DD/MM/YYYY” for a promotion in a region that doesn’t use that format?

I hope that cool late-game regions from Platinum appears. The art style here is...fine, though a part of me wishes that they did what Link’s Awakening did and had a tilt-shift effect or something to make it look more interesting. Maybe it’ll grow on me, idk.

Dumb question, but as someone who hasn’t really played these games: why would anyone play this over World, which is by all initial appearances a better-looking and more full-featured game? Like, if one’s a Switch exclusive, the portability is a factor, but if you have a PC why would you pick Rise over World?

The PS4 also didn’t have a specific slot built into the case for an expansion, and you can’t use “any damn hard drive” on PS5.

Man I wish I had your optimism.

You cheeky little bastiches, SE.

To be fair, when you look at the actual graphic on the PS blog for the month’s games, it says “available from 2/03/2021.” So somehow both Ethan and the actual guys at PS got confused.

Sounds like someone hasn’t played Astro Bot Rescue Mission.

I genuinely don’t see myself getting a phone that can run that battle royale game before it is inevitably shuttered.

Pretty much all of the Ultimate Spider-Man series was great, or at least I thought so when I read it. And pretty much any superhero character that either started in Ultimate Spidey or became a major character in that book (Bombshell, Kitty Pryde) was fun and a part of me misses those versions of those characters.
