The Tesla cables on anything other than the newest v4 DCFC units are so short they cannot reach since the port is on the wrong side of the truck when pulled in forward.

I don’t see how that offers any additional protection though. Seems like it just puts one more start cycle on the car (not a huge deal in hybrid and autostop cars)

I will never understand how Toyota is the only automaker to fumble remote start so badly. It has been a thing on most brands for a couple decades and most did it better from the beginning.

Oh- and they use the SAME exact battery, motors, and drivetrain components too.

My Honda hybrid will purposely run the ICE more to heat the cabin based on the HVAC settings. The fuel economy hit is noticeable on short trips but bad on longer ones. On short trips I usually shut the HVAC off at stop lights and it will kill the ICE if it was on solely to create waste heat for the cabin. Once the

When Cadillac did this with cue it was fun for 12 seconds, then annoying.

Honda Insight - it has an analog speedometer and 7" LCD gauge cluster. The speedometer only shows MPH. So when switching to metric, instead of moving the needle to the KPH value, it stays on MPH and shows the KPH on the screen right beside the analog gauge. Annoying, but i never use metric. The real dig is it ONLY

I wasn’t aware we were picking sides here. Either can wear whatever they feel comfortable in. Lewis puts more effort into it not because he needs to but because fashion is one of his interests, while Max just picks up whatever Red Bull kit was laid out for him.

The one my mother had was specifically from a bucket near the registers walmart at the time they used the smiley for all of their marketing, so for me, it was definitely the walmart smiley antennae topper, but it could’ve been a coincidence

The ones i really remember is the Walmart smiley and the version with a cowboy hat, which i talked my mother into getting when i was a kid.

some American automakers were experimenting with bringing an EV to market decades before General Motors, including Dodge, GM’s direct rival. One of Dodge’s early efforts is currently for sale online.

Its interesting (to me) that RAM is much closer to GMC than Chevrolet.

I suspect the agent meant to list it as for rent but instead listed as for sale. Even for rent, thats an amazing deal in most other parts of the country.

(not sure why the photos didnt post originally)

Can we take a moment to appreciate how much better ski boats look compared to wake boats?

shocked to see you here licking his boot.

It seems “these days” that you are talking about are behind us more so than ahead of us. In the past, manufactures would advertise stripper vehicles with vinyl floors, crank windows, no power locks, no AC, and of course manual transmission to get the starting price as low as possible. The Wrangler didn’t have standard

I’d think the Mercury Sable takes that honor, but there could be something before it. (the first is LED swapped, second is factory)

You don’t need malicious intent to be liable for damages or to commit a crime.  They willfully broke the TFR (crime) and caused damage to an authorized plane (liable) in doing so. Almost as if the TFR was there for a reason.

I got my car from Autonation and aside from the sales person being inept, I would recommend them (they were a little sus on the interest rate but eventually got to where i asked to be).
