I doubt they add support for Chademo plugs, so Tesla drivers will be safe from LEAFs. Even Electrify America is only adding one or two of those to their stations, compared to 10 or so CCS from what ive seen on plug share.

Curious if it will be an adaptor from their plug to CCS, adding a CCS cable to their stations, or “open” in the sense that any car can use them, so long as they are equipped with the tesla style plug.

Funny you mention this...due to the hours I drive during the week (rush hour), the esurance app labels all of my trips as “moderate” risk, regardless of any speeding or hard braking events.

Unpopular opinion: Make it remote controlled. The impressive part of the truck is its speed, sound, and power...not driver skill like actual race cars (im not saying its easy to drive, driving prowess is just not the point here).

I was mainly commenting on, “Nobody has ever had the right to disturb the peace and endanger others.” The law, while not specific to music, is pretty obviously talking about loud music.

Should every sound that can be heard from 25 feet be ticketed? Why just music?

I’m fairly impressed that you’ve never shopped at Wal Mart. It was all but unavoidable in my small hometown in the 90's and early 00’s.

Honestly, throw the whole dealership away. I really hope they don’t sell that many TUSCANY BLACK OPS BODY ARMOR STEALTH LOOKS MAXIMUMPERFORMANCE FULL METAL BLACKED OUT RUGGED QUALITY trucks, but I’m worried they might.

I watched Unhinged this weekend.  That movie is nuts.

Okay, WTF.

That is not unique to Toyota.

A swing and a miss. The word you are looking for is whether.

Nice. I am looking to trade my Volt within the next couple of years. Its a 2013 with 75k miles. Not a single issue yet, so no reason to trade. Probably look for a low mile 2019 Volt. 10% longer range on battery and matches MPG of the clarity, but really just dont have a need a midsized car and adding a full foot of

Was your Volt 2011-2012 or 2013-2015?

My chrome theory holds up with the Escalade being above both the Tahoe and Yukon.

37 miles an hour charge is probably a max of 12kW at 50A 240v. Using 3kw/mile it works out to needing 12.3kWh for the 37 miles.

Interesting. Thank you both!

What do these do better than a comparable 4 wheeler? Genuinely curious of their purpose/niche.

Well, Florida does not require emissions testing, it does have a $100 surcharge to register an EV.  So that goes in favor of selling the Tesla.

And Mustangs. And Chargers. Surprisingly the Corvette and Camaro seem to have less documented acts of stupidity, yet there are still more than plenty.
