@protodad: You do know that the Hyperdunk was just a basketball shoe that happened to draw design inspiration from these? As are the Hyperdunk 2010s, and the Hypermaxes.

@TactakillChewy: Uh, buddy, he changed his name to Chad Ochocinco.

@underwear-ninja: Something... something... something.... Dark Side.

@The-Ohio-Player: I do laps of my house. Office to upstairs bedroom windows and back again.

I want to visit #2.

@Isutsu: Yeah. Unfortunately Americans sound like tools if we use proper Finnish phonetics.

I love how he says Noh-kya.

@peasant slayer: Pretty much. Also, it's a super light starting point.

@peasant slayer: They are essentially upside down airplanes. F1 (this is actually based on an IndyCar, but whatever) cars have higher coefficients of drag, thus decreasing their efficiency in the name of grip. The shell on this car smooths airflow in an effort to make more out of every bit of energy.

@Enochrewt: In this case, while one death still sucks, a 99%+ survival rate in a crash where a plane literally breaks apart is staggering, and the only is apt.

@Squalor: So... he won and thats it right?

I actually saw that car when I was in Cincy in May. It was at the riverwalk area across the river from downtown (with a nice view of the ballpark, incidentally.)

@myfriendtheZebra: Between you and me, I like them too. Especially (keep this really quiet) the Xbox one.

@myfriendtheZebra: No. Engadget did an article on this presentation too, where Microsoft had some random new logos. They were later said to be "just concepts" to show the unity of a bunch of connected ideas or something like that.

Hopefully Microsoft figures out what's next before everyone else. They've got the scale to be around for quite some time, but they can only survive as the 3rd or 4th guy to the party for so long.

@jmcm: Look at the UAW. They do similar work for many many times what the Chinese are paid.

@Strangelove: I see. I'm a shoe geek so...yeah. Good call regardless.

@Strangelove: Not if it's because you saw he's wearing XIIs.
