I’ve been doing that for years!

“IT DOESN’T MATTER HOW SLOWLY YOU SLIDE IT!”

100%. Veronica has always been prickly, but like you say, there were always the gooier bits inside there somewhere.

They simply didn’t want to bother with a character that not only outgrew Veronica, but totally outshone her.

He isn’t directing, but he has been involved with the script. He has extremely good instincts with that, not just behind the camera, so I’m still stoked he’s involved in any way, tbh.

Because Comic Con is a San Diego event.

It’s action-comedy, but The Nice Guys is fucking great.

I know I haven’t been around much at all in recent months — not all of us get weekends off — and I’m not sure anyone here would even still remember me (perhaps not me, but my black kitty Buster rings a bell?), but I could really use some advice.

Well, at least you picked the right handle for yourself!

NIMH fucked up 5-year-old me pretty significantly. But in a way that I loved, since I kept coming back to it. It’s still my favorite Bluth film, I think.

This one kills me because he actually explains almost exactly what will happen, before it happens, and it’s still scary. The couple of times I’ve seen it in a theater, people just freak out.

For me, though there is plenty of effectively scary, upsetting shit in The Ring, the one little thing that has always gotten to me — and particularly did the first time I saw it (home alone as a teen, watching a rented VHS copy) — is that little repeating sound effect that you hear any time someone watches the damn

YES.

It’s called being an editor!

It’s worth poking around YouTube — or perhaps some other site like Dailymotion or Vimeo less likely to have been pillaged for any copyrighted material by Disney — and see if you can find any of the footage that was making the rounds during the original press tour for the ‘94 film. They showed the animators at work in

I’m almost never on here at all anymore, and I’m not sure whether I care to dip a toe back into an SNS again -- doubtful, as I am still working Saturdays, I doubt I’m missed, and by the time I get home it’s too late for it to likely matter anyway -- but I had no idea this happened! Argh, I’m sorry. You’ve always been

Chik-Fil-A is truly garbage — sawdust “biscuits” and horrible chicken — and I have no idea why people seem to love it so much. When Popeye’s exists, why in the hell would anyone ever voluntarily ingest Chik-Fil-A?

I mean, she does rescue him from drowning first. Does that not count for anything?
