It seems to be basically a plantable pot, yeah, though they do mention you can transplant later, if you want. But if they’re not likely to take well to that, I’d probably avoid it.

I haven’t actually decided for sure yet... We do have some space out front of the apartment I could potentially move them to, but I’m not sure how good that soil is out there. (I suspect it’s likely pretty dry, though, so maybe keeping them in a pot would be best...)

Very cute design, but from what I can tell (and based on several reviews), there’s no drainage of any kind. So, either whatever you store in it other than succulents is going to get wet, or the plants will die. Likely both!
