So as others here have articulated much better, though I don’t do resolutions, I have tried to sort of enter into this year with a different mindset re: what I’m willing to put up with from the people around me, or even that I’m close to, and I’ve been much more relaxed so far, which has been nice!

Either way, I’ve spent enough time worrying about other people. I’m ready to take care of myself. And this is not a resolution! This is just the way it’s going to be.

Important points, yes. Also, this is a very subjective thing, but I just can’t (figuratively) get it up for a dude that I don’t feel some attraction for. Are they still considered “standards” when it’s an uncontrollable, mostly biological/chemical thing? Not much I can do about that.
