Finally, stockpile and headhunter live again!
There’s bloom in Reach. In fact it was controversial for the bloom. Every time you fire the assault rifle, DMR, or magnum, bloom increases.
Yeah, that’s all still in there under the Social Multiplayer menu.
Booting up multiplayer last night with a Halo newbie, they immediately noticed “We just start with everything?” Man, I missed the old school simplicity and combat flow of Halo.
lack of ironsights is my favorite thing about older FPS games like Halo and CS. can’t wait to get back into it.
It depended on the mode, but yeah, there was definitely a mode where you would choose between different “classes” for lack of a better term, in which you had a different starting weapon and a different Spartan ability.
Played this last night after a long day of anticipation at work and I will say I am not disappointed. It is weird that I feel AOE I Definitive Edition has better graphics than this one, it might not be true, but overall it’s a great game. I had to turn the Bloom Effect nearly off though, all of my villagers look like…
yeah, go fuck yourself
Tell me about it, I bought the original 20 years ago and now they expect me to buy it again?
And those of us who bought the Gold version in 2001 can go fuck ourselves.
Cool, I can live my friends’ constant betrayal over again.
I don’t know what’s more amusing, the salt that a remastered game doesn’t take in account those who bought an earlier copy, or that you seem to think that such a thing should apply forever. It’s been SIX YEARS, for christsake.
Not fit for a console.
You get an extra $5 off if you already own the HD version, but yea, still need to buy it again. Perfectly worth the $15 in my opinion though.
I just played a 5+ hour game last night of the 2012 HD edition and literally ever minor change you listed came up at some point, so they clearly know the issues. Upsetting to hear the path finding is still not great or that the targeting needs to be micromanaged lest you let your units just free attack and they died…
I will take 15 minutes agonizing over a choice that has no actual impact on gameplay just because it might result in different dialogue. Was Commander Shepard a spacer, colonist, or earthborn? Sole survivor, war hero, or ruthless? Oh boy oh boy oh boy.
Wrong. The best character creation occurs throughout the entire game.
The problem is that geese these days don’t have good role models like they used to. That makes them susceptible to copying the bad behavior they see in the media. I only wish someone from the goose community would step up and tell these impressionable young geese that this is not okay.

The best trick Amazon ever played was convincing the world it wasn’t Vought.
