Don’t get me wrong the Escalade might be a great vehicle, for what it is. But it still is something that is neither luxury, nor sports, nor anything in that regard.

The really funny thing is that Cadillac’s best selling vehicles, the Escalade, XT5 and XTS, are their worst vehicles. While their nice cars struggle to sell in sustainable volumes.
IDK, maybe because you like it more? If it is as good as the Audi and costs the same as the Audi, but looks a little better than the Audi, why not buy the Arteon instead? Is the brand really that important to you?
No, we will elect a president, who will pull out of climate change agreements to bring back jobs lost because of autonomous driving.
The overpaying for trade ins is pretty common, too. There are two reasons why they do that.
Tomorrow the diver could put a Prius body on his car and we’d have a Prius beats Ferrari around the race track.
Oh come on, Sergio just looks so much better than Fields. And he seems like he’s really into merging and stuff, I’ve heard some companies like that.
Ford definitely knows the concept, but in this particular case they wanted everyone to know, that they were about to “do it” with Google. To which Google replied it wasn’t that kind of company and left. Seems plausible to me.
I don’t think they would have sold that many, if they had not limited it to a certain amount of cars. That’s how the hyper car market works, the more exclusive the car is, the more interesting it gets.
Yea, I think Ford did a great job and Porsche has realized what a great marketing strategy this actually was.
It’s a bit like the nuclear arms race. Once the first big SUVs started to become the favorite commuter cars of the suburban mommies and daddies, the rest of them had to buy their own rolling castles.
Why would I want to argue with someone about Tesla? You are the guy, who keeps bringing up Tesla. And it isn’t just not on topic, but quite simply annoying.
Wow, thanks for that unnecessary advice! Now, go take a cold shower, cool down a bit and do some self reflection why you hate Tesla so much, that you have to bring it up in totally unrelated topics. That surely can’t be healthy...
Unfortunately, there are external factors beyond their control as well as a total sea change politically with respect to the environment, public safety, and international trade.
No it doesn’t. There are different kinds of stock and different kinds of reasons, why to buy, or not buy it. Tesla is valued highly, because the investors hope to make a profit on stock price. In 5 years Tesla could be worth a lot more, or a lot less. It is a gamble.
I think investors were stumped, that Ford lots lots of profits, while GM didn’t. Both really aren’t wall street favorites, but if you compare those two, GM seems to do better. And those two are very comparable, which makes Ford look even worse. And GM really isn’t the poster boy for success.
They never are. Investors don’t care, if you layoff halve the workforce. Profit is what counts and for a company that is just facing the first sign of a slowly cooling down NA market, Ford profits made too much of a dive.
I’d recommend you to take a long cold shower.Maybe we can continue this, once you lost your Ford GT boner...
Furthermore, the GT2 RS and 488 GTO werent designed to win Le Mans. They are street cars adapted to compete in Le Mans. The GT was designed to win Le Mans and adapted for the street.
The GT1 cars were the predecessors to the current LMP1 racers. And the Ford GT is, by far, no LMP1 car.
