What? A 2+ million mile van? That is actually impressive, but I doubt that many are driven that far. How old was it? 20 years, or even more?

Total BS. Overtime someone says 0-60, figure eight, 0-100-0mph isn’t important, but track times are, I have to shake my head. Those cars are as far from stock as possible and use any trick the manufacturer can think of...

It isn’t too much regulation in, my opinion, regulation is good. It a) limits the amount of money spent, which allows for better competition. And b) would make dirty air avoidance possible.

There are good duct tape car mods?

I wouldn’t recommend a used Silverado with cloth seats from now on...

They already have big tires, there is just so much tire you could give a car. The problem is that fans complain about too slow laps, with more aero you can go faster, but with dirty air, you can’t overtake.

What are you supposing? Giant magnets? Hooks that shoot out of the front of the car? Maybe even missiles to shoot down the cars in front?

What? That is a joke right?

10% seems to be the average for the whole auto market, cars and trucks, so trucks don’t seem to be way out of line here. Still, it doesn’t sound too good that we are back at 2009 levels of incentives...

It is based on the estimated resale value, so in most cases FCA will decide how much the lease will be. If they go too high they will loose customers, if they go too low, they will loose money.

While that might be true for some enthusiasts there are four things to keep in mind.

    So true...

Better than telling the readers to buy a crappy car.

Yea, a lease would be the right way to go with a car like that.

“Is there any advantage to overestimating?”

Usually it is the manufacturers pushing inventory onto the dealer lots. These dealers get incentives, if they take enough cars, or penalties, if they don’t. The manufacturers don’t want any inventory, but keep production up. so they are pushing out cars nobody buys. This also ties in wth 2nd gear. GM dealers have too

The consequences of having 500,000 polluting vehicles could result in more deaths than those airbags. But essentially, I guess they should have payed more. The question is if they could pay more.

I’d even say that this is what the NSX should have been. The first NSX was revolutionary in many aspects, if they had gone for a pure electric hypercar, Honda could have shown that they still in the game.

Besides that the Model S motor doesn’t have magnets, you definitely have a point, but I just want to say it has to be decided from case to case. The Model X can tow 5000lbs with two small motors and no enhanced cooling features. So it is hard to say how much one with the same setup as the P100D could tow, or even one

All of the money the Bolt will “loose” has been spent development. They won’t loose a single dollar on production.
