For the HV part of an electric vehicle, grounded is bad. You are grounded as well, so if any part of that circuit is grounded, you might end up being a conductor. Open on the other hand is the normal state.

Yea but the people who would do that then, do the same thing today. Have you never seen those who just merge into another lane and expect you to break for them?
But two humans could definitely avoid this problem, right? An autonomous vehicle never expects someone to do something and then turns its attention to internal solitaire. If it sees that it can’t merge, it will break. If that still means there will be an accident, than a human could not have avoided that accident.
Yea, because thats stupid. It works a lot better to just have some minor influence, than to outright confront him in his first week and get left out of any future discussions.
I don’t even think it is a game. The whole our team vs your team has brought Trump that far. For republicans, everything Obama stood for was bad and had to be repealed. So they used fear to make people vote for them. That backfired and now the people that we should really fear, have become rather powerful.
Which federal subsidies keep Tesla alive? Just asking.
Is there really someone like Trump? A narcissistic toddler?
I am pretty happy that an immigrant, fighting against global warming, sits on one of Trumps advisory boards. I would love if he had more Mexicans, or Muslims on his advisory board as well.
Honestly, what good is a car/truck off-road? I mean a two year old is equally good at off-roading, even with his “swippewee foot gloves”, as those two. A car is good at going fast, not going up steep hills.
Oh, just imagine he would have been refused to buy a car because he is “large”. That would have been such a major outrage, that the dealership would have had to give him the car for free, or close business.
Because they have the most shitty range. If you think todays Nissan Leaf is bad, don’t even bother thinking about hydrogen internal combustion. Especially since efficiency basically stays the same, most cars would need 150-200 gallon hydrogen tanks, to get the same range as a petrol car.
Yea right, buy a 40k fuel cell, just to have 100hp. Thats a great retrofit!
And where do you get hydrogen from, Michael?
So what if the fuel cell craps out? Or god forbid, the petrol engine in your car today? Something that really nobody has ever heard before.
And somehow I knew it.
The Q7 hybrid only weights 250 pounds more? What did Porsche do with this car?
I don’t fight weird people, they might carry knives...
That would be kind of waste of money. The Golf GTI is 10 grand cheaper. But I guess the Focus RS, in drift mode, comes closest to my expectations of a perfect hot hatch. I have never been a Focus fan and I surely don’t like the way it looks, but I have to admit its the best hot hatch out there.
I actually owned the E87 130i. It was a great vehicle, but not really practical, especially when compared to a VW Golf. No space in the back and a relatively small trunk. I want one that can fit two adults in the back, like the Golf, but RWD and enough power.
Only if you are really bad at spelling, but get better in very stressful situations.
