Shit, my paranoia about her whole situation was CPS was trying to grab a cute newborn for the adoption industry! I read way too many blogs and articles about how babies are stolen from their mothers over similar situations and nothing else.

My friend who just gave birth couldn't be discharged from the hospital until a social worker spoke with her and a THC test was run. Why? Because she admitted to smoking pot in college a decade ago! Thankfully the social worker thought the reason she was called was ridiculous and it only kept my friend an extra day in

Dayuuuuum!

I had totally forgotten about the post op compression care. :shudder: I was the opposite about the narcotics, I was like "gimme gimme gimme!" I had a D & C without anesthetic which is why I blacked out the day. Fun times.

OMG, I heard "Well you're still here and you have your twins so focus on that," when telling people what happened after I gave birth. I don't remember most of the day they were born clearly except for when I delivered, when I asked the doctor why I was gushing (I was hemmorhaging) and thinking I was going to die like

Oh, fake names to protect the innocent and the not so innocent. ;)

Yes! My ex has had a revolving door of potential step-mothers for our daughter. She's only 10 and this has gone on for 5 years. When the last engagement ended a couple months ago she actually said "Well, Ariel was around more than Jasmine." I nearly choked on my Dr Pepper when I heard her say that. I used to encourage

My ex brother in law studied abroad in Norway in the late 80s and that's where he met his wife. She looks like a supermodel, tall blonde, blue eyed and he's this goofy looking dude. After all these years people still ask "How'd you get her?"

Oops. ;)

LOL.

My in-laws are a Nielsen family. My husband sometimes goes over to watch good shows to balance out the Fox News my father in law watches.

Eeeek!!! I couldn't imagine still dealing with that pain (my youngest will be 2 next month) and I was only trapped on the sofa/bed for the last 2 months of my pregnancy. You poor thing! I hope you can find some relief from the pain soon.

I think it's awesome Daisy came forward and speaking out. You go, Daisy!

During my last pregnancy I suffered from Symphysis Pubic Dysfunction. Anytime I moved from the waist down it felt like I was being stabbed. And of course that was my pregnancy that would go pass my due date by 5 days. Thank goodness just having the baby took care of that.

I am so sorry your father said that to you . I posted under the gawker article about Maryville how my parents shipped me away after I was raped in 2000. I totally understand how you're feeling especially with people saying get over it. It took me years to get my PTSD under control.

My favorites are the ones about 80's TV shows and the diva drama, coke, and scandals behind the scenes.

I should be embarrassed by how much I love this show. I got rid of cable and only stream so I hope it pops up online somewhere. I need my trash TV!

My mom's first words to me after learning I was divorcing my abusive ex husband so my then 4 year old daughter wouldn't think that type of relationship was okay "There aren't any men out there." I wasn't divorcing my husband because I wanted to date! Ugh.

I got the biggest "Whaaaaat?" stare from a relative since I don't have an issue with trans kids using the same bathroom as mine. This relative expected me to be on her side. She said it might confuse the girls and I asked how as they do their business in stalls and not in the open. That conversation was so full of
