I buy Estee Lauder. My mom started purchasing it for me when I was in highschool (like we were flat broke but skin care was more important than eating). I just have continued to do so over the years. So, I do spend over $70 on creams and such. But you only get one face, so it's worth it.

My Mom has rosacea and swears by Eucerin Redness Relief Daily Perfecting Lotion. Personally, I would try some other lotions and if none of them work as well as the Lancome then go ahead and splurge. $100 a bottle is a lot though. I'm not sure I would pay that unless it worked miracles.

I've liked all of the skin products from Lancome that I've used, but I've never purchased any and I don't really see myself being able to justify that kind of spending to myself. If you have the money and you're really happy with the results, I'd be happy to help you justify the purchase, however.
