Alternate take- people who are happier with their partners see them as more beautiful.

I don't want to be a downer- it really was an amazing event. I just read elsewhere that the Make-a-Wish foundation was fundraising to pay back the city, which means that there are going to be quite few less kids getting their own dreams.

I have to admit, I winced when I saw that price tag. On the one hand, the look on this kid's face almost made me cry, and it was so amazing to see how happy he was.

Holy crap- trolls make so much sense when you visualize them as cranky four-year-olds whining that their sibling has a bigger cookie than they do.

Please please please don't respond, people. Just imagine how unhappy this guy must be and smile at the thought.

Selfies aren't inherently derogatory. When I'm on vacation, I've taken a number of pictures of either just me or me and my partner together with scenery in the background. I've also taken pictures in stores to see how stuff looks on me, and passed those on to friends, and to show different makeup styles. When

Stop with the pizza discussions. Now it's all I want!

Do people actually use bitcoins to purchase stuff? I only ever hear about people buying them to hold until they increase in value. It's the biggest reason why I can't see it as a currency.

If you don't eat for pleasure, you're doing it wrong.

What I always wonder is if people are so convinced that abortions after 20 weeks are so wrong, why don't they do everything in their power to get women the resources they need to make the decision to terminate their pregnancies earlier?

I suppose if I object to anything here it just shows that I don't calm down quickly enough and that proves his point?

Floppy hats? Really? I'm white as a ghost- would they rather I go with the lobster look?

There doesn't seem to be an apology there...

What the hell is wrong with people? With very rare exceptions, people are not homeless by choice. Does he honestly not believe that?

I actually liked it, just because I got to pick classes that I liked, and also because I liked the academic part of school (not so much the social part). I was in the last or second to last year of students that had to take it, and I felt sorry for the ones who came after me.

Yep. Tells you how old I am (roughly) :)

Do colleges honestly think that women are fooled into thinking rape never happens if they cover it up? We know rape happens. We just want to know that if it happens on your campus, we won't be treated like idiots and fraudsters.

My first reaction: Then find us a source of birth control that doesn't fuck up our bodies then! I'm not giving up my pills till there's a valid alternative (or till I convince my husband to get a snip job).

I totally agree that people with existing friends will likely keep those. I just took this as a study on new kids for some reason.

Isn't this another completely obvious conclusion? They're obviously talking about large high schools, because those rules don't apply to schools like I went to that had an average of 25 people a grade. So you take a kid, shove her in a school of 1500+ people, and see where she makes friends. Where else, other than
