Somewhat related- I've got no problem prodding or shoving my husband in bed to get more room or blankets (and he has no problem doing the same to me), but both of us will sleep in the oddest angles and wake up with horribly contorted spines if our cats sleep with us.

I meant it mainly as a joke, but you got me thinking. If I were raped, I'm not sure if I would prefer that pictures of it were out there that lead to my rapists being caught and sentenced, or that no evidence existed and therefore they got off scott free.

Unfortunately, I live in Canada, where monopolies have ensured insanely high data and phone plans. Here's what medium-range Canadian Virgin plans look like:

Honestly, if they're going to rape people, let's teach them to instagram the crap out of it. It makes prosecution so much easier.

lol- absolutely I did.

A Stephen King-produced TV show. Don't those always do badly?

fuckthisworldfuckthisworldfuckthisworld

I don't even get the thought process behind this. Does anyone actually think that black people cannot possibly have that kind of money? Do they think that they don't deserve a $40k purse (my mind can barely comprehend that concept, but that's another story)? Do they think that a black person showing off that purse

Fuck, that's brutal. I don't know how you get over something like that.

Vote: Myfitnesspal. I second everything everyone has said. It's helped me lose 30 pounds (and counting) so far!

Just moved it to its own post.

I would share news stories with him about the horrible things that happen to women daily. I think what hit it home was the story I just shared in a different post, about how my niece was almost abducted when she was 9 years old. He knows her and has spent quite a bit of time with her (she's my favourite so we have

I used to write letters to my niece, and once when she was about 9 or so I got one from her where, in between sentences detailing her classmates and her favourite shows, she mentioned "Guess what? Someone tried to steal me!" I called her mother to get the whole story, and it turned out to be something similar to

"As a white man I am literally never ever bothered by anyone about anything."

I think the point of this article is to question why you want to dress that way. It may not be true for you, but how many other women have totally absorbed the belief that they have to look young and non-threatening, and that's why they like certain styles, even if they're not consciously aware of it?

It's got to be the scariest thing to be the mother of a young girl. I don't know if I could be strong enough to counteract all the negative images and concepts intended to diminish her that would be coming in from all sides. I've imagined getting pregnant and telling friends and family that if they want to buy

I love that analogy!

This group scares the crap out of me. I wish Leah Remini all the best, and really hope she gets some answers.

Yeah, it's not that I can't afford it, it's that I can't convince myself that it's worth it. I'm on a computer all day at work, and then have a $1500 laptop waiting for me at home. I only ever text people to stay in contact, so I'd essentially be paying that much money in order to use various apps.

Erg. It's apps like these that make me reconsider my commitment to a $25 texting and local calls only plan on a cheap cell phone. I'd love to have access to this, but don't want to pay either $500 for a phone or $75 a month.
