It's funny- I've never had the masses of the internet narrow down that much before. Here's to the lesser-known Londonites!

You're kidding me- I live in London too!
My husband calls me the vampire queen :) He loves the way every vein shows through my skin, though.
Anyone who's in love with mermaids has never been near an actual, live fish. I'm just imagining running that slimy, scaly skin around my legs alone, and it's enough to make me vomit.
So do I, actually! I just live close enough to the border that I can use parcel-holding services. I know that's not the case for everyone.
I posted this on a different thread:
I got past that. I live in south-western Ontario, where the summer months regularly have temperatures in the mid 30s (mid 90s Fahrenheit, I think) and where the entire area is surrounded by beaches. By May, I am the palest person around. I just decided a long time ago to stop letting myself care about that. Now I…
And if you doubt that hats rock, check out Nordstrom. Free shipping AND returns, you can can order as many as you want, try them out, and return the ones you don't like. I've used this feature many times!
For the life of me, I will never understand why pale-skinned women don't just embrace it. Seriously- hats rock! You'll stay looking younger for longer! Plus, when pictures are taken of you in a white dress on a sunny day, you blend into parts of your dress in a really neat photo effect. Come on- reject the mandate…
He wasn't that young when they met, so... Colin Firth? He's British, age appropriate, and kind of (if you squint) looks like him anyway.
Wake me up when there's an Ada Lovelace movie.
Would getting stung a lot make you more immune from the pain? I seem to remember getting stung fairly often as a kid (we camped all summer long, and I stepped on bees constantly since I refused to keep shoes on), and I don't really remember it bothering me that much. I haven't been stung in ages, though, so I don't…
I've been trying to go 'homemade' as much as possible with food. I make my own bread, I've made butter, yogurt, preserves, etc. I want to make my own cured meats next, and probably cheeses. It's funny how many people don't believe that you can do all that at home relatively easily.
I always feel sorry for the people who's personal lives are discussed in such detail. I know they get huge money for what they do, but still. When I started dating a co-worker about 4 years ago, we didn't tell anyone for a good year, just to avoid the gossip as long as possible. I hate the idea of people talking…
Grilled cheese and scrambled eggs were the first two things I learned to cook as well- must be standard "too easy to mess up" kid food.
I hate stories about teenage wunderkinds. They make me realize I've wasted my life.
Oh my word, that was amazing. Here's another great article on the subject:
The whole idea of 'mob mentality' scares me. Normal, intelligent, sane people shouldn't be so easily turned by a crowd. I'd like to think it could never happen to me, but I wonder sometimes.
Or start an epic game of Civilization early in the morning and play all day.
That bed scares the crap out of me. Think how easy it would be to roll you out of it on your head! I grew up with three brothers- my mind automatically looks for ways items can be used against you.
