Thank you!

"The Gang Recycles Their Trash" might be my favorite, if not top 5. Its super funny and it has this fantastic kinetic energy to it that the best episodes always do.

Season 8 is a goddamn treasure.

Agreed, that was a major selling point when I was trying to get some friends of mine to watch it, it went something like this - "Yeah, Ben Affleck is in this I know, barf, but he's perfect for the role, plus David Fincher! Fincher will make it all okay!"

I just want to say how much I love Artemis Pebdani in this role. Watching her give that genuine heartfelt speech to the two borderline sociopaths in front of her was both sweet and hilarious.

And nothing of value was lost

I'd have gone with The Kids Run Away myself, solid story + Gale Force Winds. There were plenty of other great episodes this season, a couple of which I'd put ahead of Mazel Tina.

All the cast is fantastic and deserves to move on to good things after this show is done, but I absolutely adore Gillian and if she doesn't get good work after Community is over, a small chunk of my soul will die.

It adjusted up to a .9 in the final numbers, so suck it.

Gillian deserves to be a star, no doubt.

Aimee Mann's cover is quite pleasing as well.

Aside from the glorious season 2 episode "Pipeline Fever", Lana's character seems to get the shaft characterization-wise, which is unfortunate because she's still a great character. Even this whole pregnancy plot-line she has now feels like a bit of a cop out.

MY EMOTIONS

My thoughts exactly. I wanted to like it more but felt pretty "meh" about it, save for the dean's rap. Still, I've enjoyed the season so much overall that I can let it slide.

That reminds me of the time I watched "Virtual Systems Analysis" with some folks unfamiliar with the show. It did not go over well.

Not sure but I had the same thought.

A-

I just discovered the series from this article, and I can't believe how good it is. I read in a recent EW piece that King and Kudrow are interested in doing more of the show and have had talks about what a second season would be about, but I'm not holding my breath.

I don't know if it's possible for a person to be more wrong about something.

He's also been on an episode of Scandal, also as a reporter. Dude is loving his typecasting.
