I pretty much lived off of ham & butter baguettes in Paris. You really can’t go wrong. :)

Pizza Hut? Please let my favorite crappy pizza chain not have fundie nut holes running it.
I visited London, Paris, and Berlin this past summer and had McDonald’s at all three places. D: Granted, they were all airport food choices, but I feel a little bad. (The McD’s abroad is way better though.)
You know their arguments are shit when they blame mass shooters’ motives on not learning to be “real men,” but also argue that “real men” have a right to guns. Like, when you’re telling men they have a right to guns and that gun ownership is somehow tied to patriotism and manliness, don’t be surprised when they, ya…
No photos from my town or county. :( But a really cool database regardless!
Ugh, this really struck a chord. This happened with my childhood best friend. We were practically inseparable since kindergarten; we hung out at recess every day, were in Girl Scouts together, my first sleepover was at her house, she frequently hung out and went camping with my family, etc etc. I always imagined we’d…
I want a skit with Kate, Amy, and HRC all together. Please make that happen, SNL.
Do you know if it’s the same building? I thought the Imperial War Museum was amazing (I was originally hesitant to visit a museum about “war” but WOW was it spectacular) but that adds a certain level of creepiness to the whole thing.
It’s really rich when Republicans like Carson try to use “but they oppress women/gay people!” in their arguments for Islamophobia, as if they don’t already use Christianity to do the same.
Okay, but autumn has: sweaters, cute boots, scarves, tights, hats, vests, cute jackets, plaid, houndstooth, corduroy, pumpkins, pumpkin pie, pumpkin everything, apples, apple pie, apple everything, brussels sprouts, corn, squash, cranberries, nutty/earthy spices, crunchy leaves, colorful trees, crisp breezes, no-sweat…
I mean, we can’t all be right.
How exactly do you call in dead? “Sorry, I’m feeling a little six feet under the weather today...”
Not only do I love candy corn, but I really love the assortment bags with the different shapes, like pieces of corn and cats and bats and pumpkins and witch heads. SO GOOD.
There was an all-male group, and all-female group, and other co-ed groups in that movie. The difference here is there is no similar theatrical opportunity for women available on our campus.
There’s no women’s only equivalent, nor could one be created that could realistically compare with the oldest theatrical performance group in the US.
It had both male and female roles, both played by men. So why couldn’t women just as easily take any of those roles?
From the wikipedia page, “Drag is used for any clothing carrying symbolic significance but usually referring to the clothing associated with one gender role when worn by a person of another gender.”
Glad this is getting coverage! I know a lot of the women that plan on auditioning and I really hope they’re able to create some change. In both this case and the case of our sex-segregated final clubs, most if not all members are for becoming co-ed groups. Unfortunately, grad boards and those who fund said groups are…
