Netflix and a few other things have a special-case of casting where the app on your local device tells the app on the other device what to play and then is no longer involved - as long as you were logged in under the same id on both. Works the same on my android TV, roku, and my cable box from any PC/tablet/phone that

It doesn’t really help that they have a category for ‘music’, it is still all documentaries and people talking instead of playing music.

Most (maybe all) netflix apps allow ‘casting’ - where you find a show on your PC/tablet/phone and click the screen icon to tell the other device to play it. Much easier than navigating with remote controls.

Read the label on most ‘low fat’ products and you’ll see that extra sugar has been added to keep it edible.  But really, people are fat because stuff tastes so good from the flavorings and sugar.  Back when everything tasted bland it was easy to stop eating when you had all your body needed.

In at least some states you can go in to buy liquor even if you aren’t a member because there are laws that say they can’t restrict sales:

The problem with Costco is that they change out about a third or half of the merchandise every month or so. So every time you go in you see a big stack of new things you sort-of need at a good price.  And you know if you don’t buy all you want now they won’t be there next month.  So you go in to get one of those $4.99

Buy all your gas there.

There’s 18 million members paying the $120 ‘executive’ member fee of $120/year. And they are the ones buying stuff.

No that is serious. Costco does make most of its profit on the membership fees. Even though you spend a lot there, they don’t have a big markup on what they sell. But what that means is that there is no reason for them to ever sell something you wouldn’t like - they are really working for you,  not pushing cheap crap.

Most people save enough on the credit card rebate to cover the membership cost.  Especially if you live close enough to buy all your gas there.

I have a run in my house between two gig switches that won’t work with a crossover cable (which (a) should be the correct connection but (b) should not be needed because gig ports are supposed to autodetect according to the spec).    I’m too lazy to figure it out since it works with a straight cable from wall to

The only thing in common with Trader Joe’s is that they both have specialty stuff but not quite everything you need so you still have to go to another store anyway.

You could just pay a little more for soft toilet paper instead of using the industrial-strength stuff.

You should split this into categories for summer sheets where the winner would likely be a cool, hard-feeling cotton percale (kind of hard to find these days) and winter sheets where the best might be a soft, almost fuzzy microfiber that feels warm to the touch.

Is that a year after getting them or a year with no activity?

I thought you could get any domestic flight for 50k points if you have the united credit card.  Has that changed?   Also you see more saver tickets available if you have the card and are logged in when you search.

You know, it is entirely possible to live with tableware that does go in the dishwasher and deposit any archaic things that don’t in the trash where they belong. Or send them to a museum if they are both old and valuable.

Why would anyone buy or use a food/beverage product that doesn’t go in the dishwasher? That’s just insanity. And yes that includes your fru-fru wineglasses.

Sorry, but no, just no. Everyone had their chance to go vote last election and guess who didn’t show up.

The second one is going to get warm. The correct approach is to go to a place with good service so you know you won’t have to wait to get the second cold one when you want it.
