So which Chevys will beat a Corolla in, say, Edmunds 5-year 'true cost to own' ratings? I normally keep cars 10 years or more, so that's just a starting guess.

GM has always done OK with big iron. But I need to see some small cars make 150k miles like Honda/Toyota have done for decades. At this point they don't just need to catch up, they need to be better, cheaper or both.

But _every_ Toyota and Honda I've owned has been extremely reliable - one is now at 175K miles, 12 years- and Hyundai has a 10-year warranty. I need some evidence that Chevy has changed enough to match them.

How well does it do at heating up the interior to comfortable temps when it is frigid outside? With a gas engine you get some heat as a side effect.

Most of us have seen/owned Chevrolets before. And understand why people quit buying them... Maybe things have changed but I'll wait until they prove it.

But that's the point of customizing - make it so you do like it. It's hard to beat the search in the web interface - after all it is google. And things like a search on 'from: me' to find all the conversations where you have participated are very handy. Of course you can use both if you use imap with thunderbird.

So how do you deal with the stalled traffic from people who think a little white stuff is going to pierce their tires or something?

I'd give them sympathy over the DDoS attack, but not for shipping the PS4 without a media player app. Do they really not have anyone that can write a program anymore? Or port from any of their bazillion lesser platforms that include one?

But when you pretend to be someone you aren't, aren't you likely to end up suicidal?

Wait, what??? Someone cuts in front of you and it's because of race? Do you think that never happens except because of racial bias?

Same thing with the small ones, the last bit is thin and runny.

Yep, I like Gillette Foamy - but it does get kind of watery when you get down to the last quarter or so. Barbersol might be better in that respect. In any case I don't see the point of anything more expensive. These work and you don't have to beat them into a lather yourself like the gels.

My htc one came with htc backup which puts something somewhere hidden on google drive. Would there be any way to access that if my next phone isn't htc? They also have a usb sync application for windows PCs. I can see photos and stuff there, but have the same question about getting other stuff back on a non-htc

Which of these can go in the microwave and dishwasher? And who really needs to keep the same cup of coffee hot longer than half hour or so it might possibly take to finish it?

So nothing has changed since Will Rodgers said: 'I am not a member of any organized political party. I am a Democrat'. Except maybe the unlimited amounts of money that candidates can accept from those who want to buy their services and the effect this has on the media outlets that ultimately get most of it as

There's also a DLNA client (upnp) although the PC version is almost useless if you have a lot of content on your local server because it tries to download the whole directory tree before showing anything. Oddly the ios version handles that pretty well. And the android version doesn't do upnp natively, but you can

Am I just slow? When I mouse to these icons there's a big text popup that says what clicking them is going to do before I get around to clicking the wrong one.

Where's all the CBS reporters? Didn't they assure us that winning the court case against Aereo was going to let them maintain excellent news coverage that they couldn't afford otherwise? Seriously - this is major news, how can the major media news reporters be kept away. Walter Chronkite is rolling in his grave.

So is this going to get rid of the ubiquitous link-spam that you find in the comments over all of the Gawker sites too?

So yeah, there is a special extra-bad case of trolling and spam that finally makes someone acknowledge that there is a problem. But hey, in case you haven't noticed there is a generic problem with trolling and spam, especially spam, on all of the Gawker sites.
