Why? Sure, you need sperm and an egg to reproduce, but why else do they "exist for each other"?

1) Why does society benefit from people abstaining from homosexual activity? If you're trying to make the whole propagation of the species argument, I don't think that works here. Let's say a man who is gay marries a woman to "propagate the species". Chances are that the union will not be a happy one. Then the child

Not sure if you're being serious, but why do you think that? Do you have a rational explanation? I'd love to hear it.

I agree. I really would love a gay disney princess, but I thought Frozen wasn't a good movie so I would rather we not have a sequel. But we will, so I think a Frozen 2 would be better off focusing more on the sister relationship instead of potential romances (which was the problem I had with Frozen). I think a gay

Well yeah, but Nick isn't saying he loves Reagan. I'm not saying I'm being rational here.

But she is also the bride, and Schmidt and Jess are really biased. I think they just wanted to do their best for the woman they love.

Yeah, their relationship is sweet, but I'd like to see more Nick-Jess or Nick-Winston development. I feel like I know what to expect from Nick-Schmidt storylines now.

I like that he's the office hottie. This cop thing has done wonders for Winnie's self esteem <3

I thought I was ok with Sam, but when she kept saying she loved him, I literally said out loud "No. You love Nick". I guess I'm never getting off that ship.

Same. I watched it again (avoiding studying!) and I was struck by how Rebecca has progressed, but the shitty actions of Greg and Josh have made her regress back. When her fantasy for the past year is presented on a platter, and she just got let down by a guy she really liked, how can we blame her?

I hadn't thought about her confession indicating progress. I was thinking that it was just Rebecca using a relationship as a crutch again, but you're right that she was at least honest and sincere with Greg, which she hadn't been with Josh. This show really is nuanced.

Yeah, I always thought Greg was smart, but this episode made me realize he's just bitter. I still have that idea the dark, broody people are intelligent, even though that's usually not the case.

Yes, I missed her husband! I wish the show had revisited that relationship at some point this season, it would have given some more context to why Paula is still so obsessive over Rebecca's love life.

On spotify too!

I don't expect a sane healthy Rebecca, but I do think she experienced some growth over the season, and I don't think that growth was fully acknowledged in the episode.

I actually liked the ending, because old habits die hard! But I wish the episode wasn't so focused on Rebecca and the guys; there needed to be some other element to the story? Maybe if I rewatch it, I'll appreciate it more.

I do think she has some degree of self-awareness. "You Stupid Bitch", "West Covina" and "Villain in my own story" have glimpses of her own doubts about her actions. I agree that choosing Josh at the end makes perfect sense for the character, because she holds on to an idealized view of romance. But I also think that a

My exact thoughts. I just want her to be happy!

Can't disagree with that!

I definitely agree, but I think I had hoped for a bit more introspection on her part. Like another commenter said, a Rebecca solo (maybe about her decision, with "I don't need a man" thrown in for good measure), may have helped. I just wasn't feeling this episode as much as the others.
