I really liked Todd's writing (though it got a bit self-indulgent at times), but I am appreciating that there is greater variety in TV Club now. At one point, TV Club basically became the Todd show.

Gosh that's horrible.

I thought it was funny ( the emoji fight was amazing), but it didn't seem very true to jess and Cece's friendship. I've always admired how honest they are with each other, so this fight seemed a little off.

I guess we just disagree about that, then. Because I don't see that as particularly more childish than the guys.

Whatever happens on the show, we know that Schmidt and Nadia will always share the moment she broke his penis!

I guess we disagree about whether Jess is more childish than the others. If you see her as more childish, I can see how that would rub you the wrong way.

Well, I can't speak to the Mindy Project, because I stopped watching after the beginning of the second season because I don't think it is really funny. But I can buy that Mindy is more confident, but she is a different character. In general, she is more confident than Jess.

Well, the way I looked at it, Jess was squeamish about sex in the first season because she had just gotten out of a long term relationship. She is squeamish about things now because she is in a similar situation. But that's just my read.

I think I don't have a problem with it because all of the characters on New Girl are immature, so I don't see it as a statement about women. And in the second and most of the third season, I remember Jess being more mature. Now, with this season focusing on humor, all of the characters have become idiots. Which I

I definitely agree. As I say somewhere else in this thread, I think I don't like the Leslie-Ann fight as much anymore because of the way the world became Leslie's wish granting factory the last few seasons. But at the time, I definitely connected to the fight. It is more in retrospect that I wish it had ended

I personally don't think the show degrades women regularly, but in this episode, I can definitely see it. The more comments I read, the more I dislike the episode!

That's very true, and I actually wasn't too bothered by it at the time. But repeated instances of Leslie getting her way in the last few seasons have soured me on that episode a bit. I agree, though, it definitely made sense for the show.

Well, I liked Leslie and Ann's fight until the end, when Ann joined City Hall. Because of course Leslie always has to get her way (sorry, that is a sore point for me, especially after the last few seasons).

I wasn't really insulted by the "gatherers" thing, because it was obviously for a joke, but the fight did seem out of character for me. People can be passive-aggressive (I have many friends who are, and I've been like that too), but Jess and Cece are usually upfront with each other. I didn't buy it at all.

You had me at "You had me"

"where is top for baby prison?"

I thought it was ok…I kind of felt the opposite about the fight. Jess and Cece have had big fights in the past, in "Secrets", "Models" and "Bachelorette Party", but those fights were really caused by their care for each other. I can see them being passive aggressive about the small things, which was the case in this

Did not expect this grade at all, but I'm glad it's good! I should have known Lisa Edelstein would have chosen a good project.

I liked that they exposed the Affairs to the spouses so quickly. The differences between the marriages were exhibited well. And the dual perspective here really put us into the characters' headspace, maybe more than in other episodes. Looking forward to the rest of the season.

I liked the story more than the actual episode. A little light on jokes, but amusing nonetheless. Gonna miss this show.
