You are correct, alcohol doesn’t stay in your system that long, however, your body converts it (into sugar) leaving markers and that can be picked up for 3-5 days. We caught a lot of people this way.

The reason they packaged it this way is because very few people (including Fiat/Chrysler themselves) know how to separate all of the components from the computer. These are notorious for how all of these parts are integrated into the E.C.U. and if anything is missing (including the transmission), it won’t start.
