i dunno, my setup has worked fine for 7 years

the biggest hurdle is the software. call me back when something is done that isn't off the shelf. mp3car has tons of software being developed to improve software for a car, touch on small screens need special attention, not to mention a gps etc.

and my credit is gone. Anybody else?

Do I have to use all of the amazon app store student credit today? or once I redeem it, I can sit on the credit and spend it later?

while i agree that this is hard to utilize in a real world situation like everyone is pointing out. If i loose power in my home (like an earthquake, storm, sharknado) , a cell phone is a high priority for help. I can scrounge these parts from my car and home (like a smoke alarm) and be up and running in a pinch.

This thing is $980!?!? That's double the second most expensive in the lineup. That thing better be literally indestructible. A pelican case is cheaper.

fuhu camera is $100 not $50 anymore

lol, I haven't taken a med since like 6th grade. I'm 32. I've maybe taken a pain med once in my life. It's not worth the money to me, let alone the weight.

Books/ipod? that's why I'm traveling to have fun. I don't need music and book to entertain me. I might want to watch movies on my flight but my phone will do just

Whoa, I'm going on a 6month international trip and I chose 14 days. That's way too much crap to carry. Maybe I'm trying too hard to stay light but it's a lot of crap. flashlight? pain meds? books and ipod? bed sheets (optional)?

lol, back in HS we had about 0.5-1 pie per dude, we were growing boys.

Pandora's Box is open. Genie s out of the bottle. etc......... End of the world.

this is perfect. I'm a scientist and I just went on a ghost tour last night and the first thing that popped into my head are some of these things on this list because I'm open to the idea of ghosts but NONE of these ghost hunting organization has ever applied the scientific method, which is extremely aggravating.

$1 you're welcome

wasn't there a kickstarter or indiegogo with this idea? poor bastard getting beaten to the market by a large corp. But his took microSD in the USB slot which was kinda cool.

I feel ya, I spent mine in grad school making nothing and studying a lot. Late nights in the lab are sometimes a taken as a badge of honor, they are not worth it.

reputation or not you should say "no". People can say no to things. Lots of jobs have hazards. People don't take those jobs for a reason. My safety is more important than my job. Maybe I'm just a different person. At the same time, getting hurt on the job also has consequences for the hazards that are a part of that

You are correct, my amateur engineer in my was screaming the same logic. It's all about charge negotiation from your device for how much it wants to pull. A charge only (non-Data) will by-pass this negotiation and just let all the current rip.

I'm a graduate student on a stipend. I saved a few hundred dollars a month for five years. I'm about to graduate. I'm planning to travel the world for about 6 months or so. I have two credit cards, I'm using the points for one to buy a leaving flight and one for a return flight. If travel is your deal, it's possible.

I was thinking the same thing. I didn't this difference in gauge would make a big difference on this scale.
