I agree, also it may have been worse for them by going optical, kinda like the dreamcast from piracy. In fact, I think the dreamcast fits better on this list than the N64,sega got fucked.

windows ME was a worse fuck-up than Vista. ME didn't even work and had tons of snit patches right away. Also I'm surprised that the IBM "death stars" didn't make the list.It had a huge failure rate, they sold their deskstar division to Hitachi after that.

I agree with most of what you say. I find there are three types of homeless: ones who don't want a typical 9-5 life (I guess this would include runaways), mentally ill, and substance problems. I think the latter two groups could use aid from society, it's our responsibility as an organized society to care for them.

ps3 did do this, and I think it flopped or had trouble getting traction out of the gate. You're right that this is a similar problem.

while i agree that this is hard to utilize in a real world situation like everyone is pointing out. If i loose power in my home (like an earthquake, storm, sharknado) , a cell phone is a high priority for help. I can scrounge these parts from my car and home (like a smoke alarm) and be up and running in a pinch.
