this is perfect. I'm a scientist and I just went on a ghost tour last night and the first thing that popped into my head are some of these things on this list because I'm open to the idea of ghosts but NONE of these ghost hunting organization has ever applied the scientific method, which is extremely aggravating.

reputation or not you should say "no". People can say no to things. Lots of jobs have hazards. People don't take those jobs for a reason. My safety is more important than my job. You are correct, my amateur engineer in my was screaming the same logic. It's all about charge negotiation from your device for how much it wants to pull. A charge only (non-Data) will by-pass this negotiation and just let all the current rip.
