Yeah, I mean we all know who the best character in the franchise really is...

Dear Kotaku,

Let’s make this very clear-

Because if you’re willing to do that and have people willing to pay for it, that’s a pretty damn easy 20 bucks to make. Most people don’t suddenly stop making easy money just because they have a lot of it.

To be fair she is, or likely her money manager IS being smart, 100% of her appeal is based on her looks, which doesn’t last, so diversifying into other business ventures is a very smart thing to do.

Reminder to all the folks raging in the comments - you are ensuring another Amouranth article by engaging with the content. Ignoring it is your only weapon in this fight.

they do... when smaller streamers do something noteworthy. Smaller streamers generally dont do anything newsworthy. Someone with 1 or 2 viewers isnt going to suddenly break the internet.

Maybe she enjoys it, who are you to yuck an exhibitionists yum?

The suits at Bungie really don’t get it. The solution to their 45% revenue miss is NOT new microtransactions. It’s player retention. Continual growth is unsustainable. Keep your customer base happy, and they’ll happily give you money. That means letting the devs properly respond to player feedback, which is something

I’m not gonna tell anyone to grind out a service game if they’re not feeling it. Literally anything else is a better use of your time. But, the two specific gripes you raise have largely been addressed.

Season stories have gotten significantly more integral and less

It’s bad for new players, and its also terrible for returning players.

It’s looking more and more like D2 is just being used as a cash cow to fund their new IPs. Which is fine, really. D2 is getting a bit stale and repetitive and new IPs are always welcome but you can still execute microtransactions well. This was not even remotely close to well.

What did all 150 remaining Destiny 2 addicts expect?

Destiny 2 should never have killed its old material. The introduction to the game through the beginning of the red war was spot on, one of the best, if not THE best moment in the game altogether to this day. The combination of the music, the gameplay, the visuals - it was true art.
Sadly, art doesn’t count at Bungie.

I think Datto’s rage-y take was pretty much spot on.

For all its in-game improvements, the out-of-game onboarding experience for players in D2 is still disastrously bad, and only getting worse. If this was a value-add to something like the Legacy Collection, it would be a great idea. But as a standalone, overpriced,

i mean he is one.

Just given his sense of humor... I think I can give him the benefit of the doubt that that was pretty tongue in cheek?

It felt out of his wheelhouse even at the time. His earlier films were SO indie that it felt like he was only taking Ragnarok for the paycheck. The fact that it was actually good proved he’s an adept storyteller no matter the size of his budget. I’ve always rooted for him - he seems like a decent fellow.

“My favourite kid’s book? ‘Animal Farm’, no question. Those funny little talking animals, coming together, solving problems with the power of friendship, it gets me every time.”

Star Wars is about swashbuckling rebels overtaking an empire, but people don’t necessarily just focus on that as being about freedom or being about anti-imperialism.
