I tried to watch The Goonies once on blu-ray because it’s considered a classic in its genre and I never saw it when I was the proper age (closest I ever came was a movie trailer); couldn’t stand all the screaming kids constantly screaming their annoying little heads off all the time.

It’s a good movie to watch as an adult too. I wouldn’t call it a kids’ movie exactly; while it is told from a kid’s perspective, and certainly resonates very strongly with children, there’s layers in there for adults too if you’re .
