She's still saying that to be weak is to be a woman (bitch/someone who wears a tampon). Doesn't matter who she says it to. And I seem to remember a lot of gendered insults being part of her lines in the first movie, all of them reinforcing this weak = woman thing.

I really liked the first Kick Ass and Hit Girl, but I wish her character didn't resort to sexist put-downs all the time ("talk like a bitch, get hit like a bitch," "take your tampon out, Dave" etc), as if that were the only way of convincing the audience of how bad-ass she is.

They also couldn't get into Canada to protest Tim Maclean's funeral for the same reason. I seem to remember our foreign affairs minister making statement about some serious measures being set up to keep them out of the country.

I think working retail/customer service should be a civic duty, like doing a stint in the military is for some countries.
