I don't know why I'm so shocked by her death, but I am! And disappointed.

I believe the Three Eyed Crow being Bloodraven is only a theory, though.

I'm assuming that the northern conspiracy is what they're getting at here. I have faith that they wouldn't abandon sense THAT much, right?

Except I think they just confirmed that Sensei Tree Dude isn't Bloodraven! He said in this episode that he's been there for a thousand years.

I'd bet every single one of my westerosi coins on R+L=J being confirmed this Sunday.

I hate this theory, but I mostly hate that I kind of buy it.

Agreed all around, though I wonder if the fight scene was intentionally lacking considering they're in the throes of a brutal Northern winter.

I was SO nervous that they were going to do that. I mean, I guess it should have been obvious that Brienne would save her but I'm always a sucker while I'm watching.

The Sansa/Brienne scene was just so immensely gratifying. I don't think I could have taken any more losses for either of them.

And she's tall as hell!

That's actually why I think a Jon Snow resurrection could come as soon as ep2 or ep3. Tempers are flaring and Davos' intervention might push Melisandre to desperate measures. (OR I'm just entirely too hopeful, we'll see!)

That's what I love most about Melisandre, as a character. She's so powerful and mysterious, yet she so frequently bungles the interpretations of her visions.

I get where you're coming from, but I still think this is different. Stannis is a king and he fought in a battle—his is a body they'd absolutely make sure to find.

I'd also like to add that Davos is more or less the reason why Stannis moved north. He probably feels some sort of obligation to see this through as best he can.

Yeah, though at most only a few hours have passed. So we're still in the dealing with a disaster WTF-Just-Happened stage rather than the next, more rational stage.

I think he's definitely dead, otherwise why would Roose and Ramsay be able to speak about it with any certainty? Someone must have seen the body and alerted them, considering that everyone around Stannis was already dead when he was killed.

My reading of that goes like this:

Jaime didn't kill Jon Arryn—that was Lysa's doing (with Littlefinger's prodding). Also, I would argue that attacking Ned Stark was kind of justified since the Starks abducted Tyrion for seemingly no reason.

I straight up witch cackled.

Wow, I thought Syrio truthers were a myth! (Though I have to admit that when they showed Syrio in the previews, I nearly had a conniption.)
