I think you’re going to have to make a bigger sign for them, I don’t think they’ve spotted it yet. Try using neon.

Ah that’s a use case I hadn’t considered. You’re right though, the PS5 will be busy “playing” the game and you’d have to use another input or smart TV app for Netflix while the PS5 runs in the background.

Using Portal also won’t “free up” the console so one person can play on TV while the other plays on handheld.”

I know folks keep saying to parent their kids, but it goes beyond that even. These games are intentionally designed to be psychologically manipulative. It’s how they get the money and play time that they do.

While that is certainly unfortunate, at least three of the games mentioned are meant for an age group above that of the child. So you can cross those off the list of “marketed to children”.  And ultimately this goes back to personal responsibility, which is at the heart of any addiction.  Nobody put a gun to your head

12 live service games? That seems insane. Focus on one or two or a few, but I feel like at 12 they’re just competing with each other. Can sony possible expect most of these to succeed or are they just throwing a bunch of stuff at the wall and seeing what sticks? Maybe instead of doing that they could just make a

with some praising the decision to avoid the messiness that is often standard with F2P microtransactions”

I always get a chuckle when that happens on Playstation too. You’ll witness a tragic conclusion to a chapter, high drama, possibly a character death and “Ding!” Trophy pop “Ouch That Hurt! (Beat Chapter 4)"

I’m unfamiliar with this “jayrock” but I have now consistently seen nothing but the stupidest shit dribble out of his mouth. Gonna mark him down as “just another one of god’s fools”. It is easy to see why he’s popular on the newer, whiter, angrier version of twitter.

“If we continue to coalesce around the four or five genres, then we won’t get the new players because those people have already said we’re not interested in your genres,” Layden said. “Don’t kid yourself that someone who’s said ‘no’ to Call of Duty for the last 15 years is going to start suddenly saying ‘yes’ to Call

*historically accurate kong*

This is sad. We had better giant enemy crab fights way back in 2006. Kong can’t even flip them over for massive damage.

Saying “it’s popular for [x]” doesn’t mean “it owes its popularity to [x], it just means “it’s a popular place to get [x]”

Where do you think indie games sell their soundtracks?

“The fact that Epic sold bandcamp a year after they bought it shows that they had no plan and no real interest in bandcamp’s mission,” tweeted FTL: Faster Than Light composer Ben Prunty.

Not adding that ‘we all knew this from the start, corporations are not your friend.’ Impoverish CEOs, control your own labour, don’t

I know armchair socialism feels especially futile when shit like this is happening, but the only way to truly staunch the bleeding is for workers to control the fates of their own companies. Nobody can or should ‘own’ anyone’s labor except the laborers themselves. Nobody else’s interests are truly aligned with the

god it’s so sick whenever you come across someone for whom the spirit of nu metal never died

I stopped watching them somewhere around 2021 when their videos where they “fixed” things from movies started looking universally worse in my opinion, and I started getting the impression that they were no longer really thinking critically about what they were doing, and were spending much more time just patting each

Far be it from me to take any joy in the perceived “failure” of a game—I really do applaud Bethesda for the staggering amount of hard work they put into what they created, and I think it’s quite special despite its flaws.
