The catch that you have to leave the bin makes this feel like a sketch and I love it.

My concern is more that these people could have any real expectations of this studio after working there for the past six years. What indication have they received that there’s faith left to cling to?

Some dark part of me wishes it was a New Vegas retelling just to watch those people melt down but perhaps there’s enough bile on the ‘net already.

Yet another great option for posts to show a person from the Victorian era.

One example I like to recall is in...Bulletstorm, I wanna say, where the devs initially experimented with making explosive barrels not default to bright red, and found that playtesters completely ignored them. People on Twitter can complain all they want, they would be lost without tricks like this.

To sell games on. To come the closest to console-warrior-ing I’ll tread since my adolescence, I think a lot of people are still steeped in an old mindset about these things where people at Xbox are trying to look ahead. If you buy Starfield on an Xbox, cool. If you buy it on a Playstation 5, cool. They still make

I’ll be the stick in the mud and say I’ve kinda gotten sick of guest characters when these teams are so capable of creating cool original fighters.

Something something take note EA, upvote to the left.

So the whole reason they opted not to include multiplayer in Part Deux and then charged more for a remake of the first game without it is now dust. Wonderful. God I feel like 2023 is the year of commenting how bad I feel for the regular folks at Naughty Dog.

The official website for the event has been replaced with a screen that simply reads, ‘After more than two decades of E3, each one bigger than the last, the time has come to say goodbye. Thanks for the memories. GGWP.’ The event’s official Twitter account shared the message as well.”

I remember a year or so back, someone explained the complexities of maintaining systems like that, and obviously video games introduce additional complications to that. My usual inclination is to be sympathetic to developers because they have pretty thankless jobs, and aren’t making the decisions that so many people

Can I ‘avoid’ it when other people use it? Pretty sure that’s not an option.

I wonder what the general vibe at Naughty Dog presently is. Are they happy that the studio has essentially been defined by one game for ten years now, even one as acclaimed as TLOU? Do they have time to care about such things when going through their 90th hour of crunch in a week? Uncharted might have gotten releases

Valve also confirmed that once the Limited Edition Steam Decks sell out, that’s it. The company doesn’t plan on producing anymore.”

I mean, I don’t remember being asked.

Restricting teams to one of each character was the beginning of the end but this one really seemed to be what sealed its fate. Shame. Overwatch’s launch was one of the last times I felt we were united as a species, to be a hair dramatic.

The company running a game where they took away stuff you paid for says (reportedly) that it’s my fault they can’t run a business?

Yeah, it should be called the Switch 360 instead.

Boy that Tim Sweeney really is a scumbag.

I’m not sure I see those walls as a punishment though. It’s not a punishment to suggest that not taking the time to invest in certain skills means you won’t be ready for their higher challenges, is it? You can’t craft a four-star meal until you learn to perfect the three-star, etc.
