Very cool! Always love fan projects like this. Never love when they have lines like “I did what this game always deserved” because boy do they come off a hair presumptuous.

I didn’t know we could get positive news about the NFT collective known as Square Enix anymore but this is good. Hopefully we see more of it going forward.

There’s something to be said for holding onto your inner child as you grow older (I think allowing oneself to be childish now and then is healthy) but unless you’re a parent I don’t see it either. But then if you ARE a parent, it’s much more expensive and you now have all of the regular responsibilities of monitoring

I remember when Nadella took over in 2014 he was quite frank in wanting to just sell the brand off, and I don’t think many people would have faulted him for it. Wonder who bought it in the other timeline.

Good to see her up and (kinda) at’em. Absolutely tragic news, hopefully the people responsible for this are buried by the lawsuits. Wish Chechik and that other person who was paralyzed by the pit the best.

I sometimes forget that CoD kinda has its own self-contained sector of influencers online and usually the only time we get any awareness of them in the mainstream is when they’re complaining like this.

That’s a...weird one. On the one hand, if your villain is going to be a villain, make them villainous. If they’re a racist in a cartoon for children, there’s no need to dance around it - make it obvious. Disney probably wouldn’t want to add a character to this game who’s just rattling off his manifesto about the

I would be surprised if he even knew about it to begin with, I certainly didn’t. If Platinum had had any opinions about that stuff I think it would have been discussed with her privately through Nintendo.

I would only describe The Medium as a botch if we also consider Thirteen Reasons Why “a bit of a misstep”. My criticism is not that they should have gone with the ending I was expecting, and I don’t consider it “concern trolling”. The Medium is an AWFUL commentary on mental illness, not to mention a harmful one.

Could have phrased that better, because there was that trilogy as well as Kuon on the PS2. What I mean to say is that I want FromSoft to make a NEW horror game because they could probably knock it out of the park.

Their sense of pacing is really weak - they share an issue with a number of horror games like the first Dead Space, FEAR 2, and Silent Hills Homecoming and Downpour, where you can always tell when a scare is coming because they don’t vary things up enough.

I would rather Treyarch, Arc System Works, HAL Laboratory, or Mihoyo tackle this property before I let Bloober in the building to take a pitch meeting.

Unfortunately PlayStation 3 games are still stream-only, right?

Genuinely cannot think of a developer less fitting for Silent Hill than Bloober. Fuck Konami.

Those offerings exist but they aren’t the only way those companies deliver the games to you. xCloud is a value add to a subscription Microsoft was already developing and PSNow was its own program and now has followed suit.

Saying he “looks back on things with shame” means nothing to me when he’s still profiting from the company where he created this culture of abuse. Alcoholism is an extremely powerful force, no doubt about it, but it is in no way an excuse for how reprehensible he is.

Not the only one certainly but god, Ramsey is such a vile person. The closest thing to consequences he’ll ever face for years of physically and emotionally abusing his employees, joking about raping people, and bragging about following women on the streets, is that with this all out in the open there is no way for his

Glad to see figures like this getting out. Between this and the Epic v. Apple data, I think it’s good for the industry to have more transparency (even if it’s by force), especially because other developers can see this and use it in negotiations.

The big bet they were so certain of that they changed their company’s name, in the process screwing up innumerable things on the back end, including locking tons of users out of Instagram and not letting them verify to get in.

You smell. Take that.
