The Cutest One Here

I wonder - from a place of pure curiosity - if the vibe at 343i is one of wanting to do something different. The studio was founded to continue the series of course but after the ups and downs and so many years of screamy internet men screaming at them, does a decent chunk of the team want to give a new game a go

I don’t know if she’s ever had an interest in wrestling but once she’s done with all this she could write for them. This understanding of how to play a crowd would do well in AEW.

Which the US has done in the past and a significant portion of its electorate is trying to implement again. Let’s not excuse one bad actor simply for the sins of another.

That’s the other bummer, that emulation is still the only real way to keep anything around and it means not getting to play on original hardware. I think that’s an important part of the experience - it’s intended as part of the design - but thinking about how the physical things won’t last is another reminder that

“And frankly if there isn’t potential value in it there’s little incentive for people to preserve stuff like this in any worthwhile condition.”

Sick to fucking death of this mentality, and I don’t mean that as an attack at you so much as at a broader idea. If you don’t want to preserve it, don’t, but stop viewing

Maybe this is a weird hangup to have but I’m really not fond of crazy collections like this, especially when the story ends in “and then they sold it off to somebody for a lot of money”. I have no doubt people take legitimate and normal joy in this activity, but seeing how difficult it is to get to experience a lot of

Gotta say, I can’t read “skip the grind” and not think “your game is bad enough I should pay to play less of it?

Ah yes, the site that exists because 4chan found the one thing it wouldn’t host.

When I said this the other day:

That’s what I said last time and someone got mad at me for it. Henceforth we shall only make remakes, never new things. Hope you’re ready for God of War 2018: Part One in a few years.

The dramatist in me hoped that as soon as the package opened, the cards would turn to dust and fade into the wind.

Probably the same folks graciously lending server racks to Stormfront and Trump’s social network.

Don’t know that I can think of many lower forms of life than someone with a KiwiFarms account but I’ll try.

Will certainly agree with you there, Prey is sublime. To this day I curse the name Zenimax for screwing over the developers.

Awesome, was just thinking I wanted to finally give Quake 4 a try. Not expecting much but I’m curious.

Funny timing, I was just thinking the other day about that period of time where grown men were pointing guns at kids to be able to hoard paper drawings of tazer mice.

It’s probably a smarter way to do things long-term, says I with no experience running a business. Get a bunch of IP for cheap on the chance that one or more becomes bigger in the next few years rather than gambling everything on GIANT acquisitions that might have already plateaued in market share. And it’s not like

Goku is practically a Saint for the heavy gym-going community.

I find it interesting that you’d consider the vibes of Halo 1 to be the best part and then use a screenshot of the remake which did away with many of them. There’s still a stray vibe here and there but I find that game to be pretty vibe-less in most cases.

How many wrestling fans have declared the WWE deader than dead only to continue loyally subscribing to the network in order to keep complaining?
