Women do it, and get called out upon it too.

You don't actually know what "white knight' means, do you?

Seriously, though.

What.

Erm, like others have said, if you're dressing up in a costume in a public forum, you want to be seen. but you also have to have a certain amount of love for the character if you're going to spend that much time and effort, or conversely, that much money to cosplay said character.

Why is this in grey?

Exactly. He's making our men look bad :(

Shy, quirky, disinterested in sports? Sounds like my ideal guy.

"A man's standards"? You mean your standards are abysmally low. You certainly don't speak for the rest of the group.

Partially agree, partially don't.

I don't think my original statement was overreaching; it was in reaction to you saying what I've quoted above, which, if you actually meant, would indeed be extremely Euro-centric.

Yup. I have the "phoenix eyes" so my mom always bugged me to get double-eyelids because then I would have the "ideal" Chinese beauty. Y'know, double phoenix eyes, pale skin (I hate the great outdoors. I am paler in some areas than my ginger friend), jet-black hair, the works.

"The entire dynamic of the procedure is precisely to make the eyes look less asian and more european in shape. That's just an objective observation of it. And you want to say it has nothing to do with race? Please..."
