Are you Asian? AFAIK large eyes and double eyelids have always been considered beautiful in China. There are many tribes in China who naturally have those features. Case in point: my mother has double eyelids naturally. It's much rarer than in Europe or the US, but not at all uncommon.

It's understandable. But the article also said that the people actually at the school were all for it; the chapter president, etc. It was the alumns that took the issue over their heads.

They asked if you thought it was possible to coexist. Which meant whether you thought it was possible that something could have both properties, not whether you personally found anything so.
