Ha. But seriously, Koreans can drink. I was a pretty heavy drinker back in the days and my Korean girl friends could drink on par with me. And they don't just crack open a beer or two; when they do it, they do it. Drinking is a very serious activity for Asians.

Hey now, nothing wrong with getting drunk every night ;)

It was mostly the tone. "I don't think that is correct" versus "Are you sure that's correct?" made it seem a little callous. Notice I didn't say rude, I said callous because even though you you qualify it with "I'm no expert", you still don't hesitate to call her incorrect, and felt a little like you were showing off

I have no clue, having grown up in the US :D

Yeah. I haven't been super-happy with Jezebel's general advice on the matter, which often wraps up into: if they don't want to have sex, leave them alone. It over-simplifies the situation to the point where it's unhelpful, though this article was as bad as the general tone.

For some reason I will have to get my dad to re-explain to me, there's not. They are about equal, or women go to college more often nowadays. Back in my parents' day it was the opposite, and educated women were rare and prized in marriages (for men of equal or higher education than them; it meant the man was awesome

I'm a girl who was in a similar situation, and you sound like a giant dick (pun intended)

Then why are you still here? @_@

They are "left over" because no one wants them. That is demographic reality.

Chinese person here.

I am guilty as charged.

I'm not either, being Chinese. But I do know that this custom is spreading to China as well, though it is still not nearly as prevalent. My own mother advised my to get work done, and I was like, wtf? From what I understand it's very common for parents to give them surgery as graduation presents etc.

Jk, jk. (I'm mostly serious tho)

All Asians *do* look alike. All white people do not look alike. There are like, tall and short heights and skinny/average/fat body types.

Google the following combo of words.

I don't understand why you keep overlooking the facts.

Collectively. Individually, not so much.

1. He got pissed off and sent the text waaay before the child was born.

I hate my pictures too. It's pretty universal amongst us unphotogenic people. But taking good pictures is also a skill you can develop, which is part of what they teach at modeling school.

Does anyone have a full picture of that dress Selena is wearing? Pleeeease?
