At best she said "I find it hard to reconcile the state's case of a hardened sociopath with this nice, normal guy I've been talking to." Which seems completely reasonable to me.

I definitely preferred Tig's special. Natasha's wasn't terrible or anything, but I felt like she was going for super low-hanging fruit with most of her jokes. And the rap at the beginning was just terrible.

I had no problem with that scene, but I honestly can't tell you if it's solid in filmic terms or if I'm just hypnotized by Katherine Waterston. I wonder if she sprung forward fully formed one day when Sam Waterston's brow was particularly furrowed?
