Sure, there's also the issue of Hugh Jackman playing him in films set in the 1960's, 70's, 80's and 2020's so it would be odd if another actor played the same character in a film set in the 1990's or 2000's.

A hugely popular character that has been played by the same actor for 17 years across two timelines. They need to take a while before the audience would accept a new Wolverine - hence X-23.

17 years is a long time for one actor to play a character. Recasting would be tricky. Using X-23 is such an obvious next step.

They should make it a Sci-Fi/Body Horror/Comic Book film. Make it stand out from the other films.

I can't see them going that route for a new Wolverine. Surely a young or old X-23 would be their next step. They can also keep Jackman for cameos set anytime between Apocalypse and Logan.

Wow, I thought the concept and execution was outstanding. Three separate but connected arcs, building on each other, introducing new characters and concepts, complementing the movies, and then ending with a suprising tease for next season. I can't wait!

When does the Ray animated show start, and what earth will it be set on?

My assumption is that this will take place on one of the different Earths in the Multiverse. That way it can be separate up until they fancy crossing over.

I wonder if the "IN SPACE!" teaser is in fact taking place during Inhumans? We know the Inhuman Royal Family will be victims of a coup and have to leave their home on the moon - perhaps S.W.O.R.D are monitoring that event and it's aftermath and recruit Coulson's team?!

And Nick Fury and Maria Hill.

I'm not sure that's the Time Stone but I like your thinking about the change of scheduling and potential crossovers.

I wouldn't be suprised if Coulson and his team have been recruited by S.W.O.R.D.

I think this could work if each episode riffs on something that has been mentioned on The Big Bang Theory. E.g. they should rewatch TBBT from S1E1 and then use everything mentioned in his past as the roadmap for the series.

Finally got round to reading 'Multiversity' by Grant Morrison.

I'm intrigued by the different approaches the US comic book shows I watch have taken to the 20+ episode season.

The Alex jump was a Trinity from The Matrix reference, yes?

So it looks like;

Oh right. Well they are not as connected as some fans would like but they are clearly happening in the same universe and AoS often has big links or lead-ins or reactions to, the MCU movies.

McAvoy should be around in the background, occasionally giving advice or orders, but not as a main character.

I'm hoping they go full on cosmic crazy and send an X-Men team off to space.
