Yeah I think a lot of guys don't really look. Especially if the woman doesn't look engaged (I was young so ppl were usually surprised I was engaged, they wouldn't check for a ring before assuming I was Miss)

I mean like 99% of the times I get harassed, I'm alone/with a woman. Not that I get harassed 99% of times I leave my house (thank god)

I really don’t think it was meant that way. Woman of all different ‘levels of hotness’ (terrible way of putting it, sorry!) get street harassed and should be allowed to complain about it sometimes without it necessarily meaning they think they're super sexy

I think it’s partly just due to people not noticing your ring. I noticed no decline in street harassment after getting engaged or married - they aren’t looking at your hand! Even guys who speak to you often don’t notice. I worked 2 weeks at a new job wearing my rings every day and many of my (male, some quite sleazy)…

Ugh - I can’t believe even a pregnant belly won’t help :(
