It's tuned for the power, I get that that's not stock, but it still should function properly at all times. I've driven stock cars with DSGs and they're just as quirky. My dad's old A4 has one, the only upside to not being modded, was that it had slightly less lag on up shifts.

I drove my brother's MKV GTI with a DSG for the first time, yesterday. It's modded to about 400hp. The problem with the DSG, it doesn't know what to do with itself half the time.
