I love the Jungle Beat references. It's one of the best platformers I've played and it deserves all the praise it gets. It was supremely fun in a way that a lot of games just aren't. A joy to play.

@HobbitGamer: If you think of it from Alan's perspective too - these pages are so important. Any one might reveal some crucial clue to the future, so you definitely would go out of your way to get one.

@1up: I think he's great too. He certainly has character, he's memorable, and I think you grow to like him more as the story progresses. He's a bit of an ass in chapter 2, but he made me laugh.

I actually really like the coffee thermos/manuscript page hunting.

I'd much rather wait for them to bundle all their post-game DLC into one big package.

I hate DLC and would much rather buy a complete product for £40 than shell out £5 at a time than play a game over 4 months.

@The Forgetful Brain: Pretty sure he blames Star Wars for everything bad in his life and never has anything to do with it. Apart from a spoof moment in Jay & Silent Bob Strike Back.

@WillyG15: I dunno about that. I think gyoza is one of my favourite types of food. Also rice bowls with tempura vegetables/shrimp and sweet soy is really good.

@Onizuka-GTO: pizza pie my friend, pizza pie. Potatoes and peas on a slice of pizza. It was NOT good.

the pizza I had in Japan was so so terrible. They put peas and potatoes on one pie, I had to try it out of sheer intrigue. It was awful I'm afraid.

That's insane. Do you need details like that? How big a TV do you have to play on to be able to notice that?

I think part of the "conversion" problem is that gaming can be a seriously expensive habit, or at least entry into it is percieved as expensive.

@cyruss: If they dont dispatch mine by tonight I'm cancelling and buying it at the shop tomorrow. Amazon have never failed me before...don't let this be the first time!

Nooo, please, for the sake of everyone involved, never introduce anyone to Football Manager.

@Deanb: My guess is that they just took the figure for GTA4 and used that.

@dracosummoner: from decades of reporting stories with a right-wing bias?

I sort of wish DQ9 was a proper home console game, rather than a DS title.

@Nihilexistentialist: Understatement if I ever read it. They're guaranteed number 1 in the charts every year.

You know, I think giving anyone but Sports Interactive a run at FM would be a great idea. As long as it's not just a straight port.

@-MasterDex-: Obviously not enough for them to consider it worthwhile though. I would guess they probably had analysts and such do the math for them.
