I stopped using Evernote after it was revealed that their engineers read user notes “to improve the product.” [this was in 2016.] [reminds you of current “contractors listen to your smart-speaker audio”, huh?]

I don’t have that checkbox in my “About” tab. Same version of OneDrive client.
For a long long time, they haven’t given anything that I can redeem from home, without spending any money (like ebook at bookshout, or movie rental at vudu). I either have to go out (free taco, umbrella etc.) or have to spend some money (50% off at so n so.)
When I finished sign-up, it deducted $25 from my credit-card and still the “order history” doesn’t show anything. Plus, their “contact us” page has just a bunch of faq. There’s a link to a “live chat” option that just takes you to the site’s home page. So far it looks like a scam or very poor site setup.

Thanks for the “What’s not ready yet?” block. Every other tech blog I read made no distinction between what’s live and what’s not and created so much confusion among readers.
Send this to Jenna Fischer. She’s been crazy about baking breads lately.
When I was hit by a car while crossing a crosswalk, I was feeling embarrassed. (I have social and general anxiety.) The car’s driver was asking me “are you ok? do you need me to take you somewhere?” etc. but I was feeling so embarrassed that I told her I’m fine and let her go. WITHOUT noting down her license plate or…
When I took a screenshot of this page, only the article part showed up. The left part of the page (i.e. “You may also like” and “recent from” column) didn’t. All of these are in their own iframe or something?
I’ve known this via a reddit thread quite some time ago. Ever since then, every time I have a support chat with any service, I type something in the box without pressing send for a minute or two to see whether the rep mistakenly responds to it.
My problem is -
When I add these Add-Ons, do these service providers also get full access to all my emails? I tried adding Gfycat and it asked me to agree to its T&Cs. I backed out without reading it.
Mobile only? :( I’m not seeing a read-aloud option on desktop website.
I had frozen my credit report with equifax last year when the news had broken. On the anniversary, I logged in into https://my.equifax.com/membercenter and it says “We are temporarily unable to complete this request.” i.e. it is not showing my freeze status and I have no way of unfreezing from the site. I called up…
I’ve been using it since ~a year or so and have 1000+ books cataloged in it. (I’m ebook / audiobook hoarder.). It’s a lifesaver. But the Android app, which looks like a simple web wrapper at best, sucks big time. Wish that was more polished and useful.
When I try to connect MS account with MA, the confirmation page has this - “Movies Anywhere will be able to see and update your info, even when you’re not using this app.”
Since last 6 years, every few months I get a call from some firm looking for “Jennifer Webster”. I’ve told them every single time that this is not her number and stop calling me... and still I keep receiving calls from them.
XDA is still a niche site for “enthusiasts”, whereas Lifehacker is more mainstream “general public”.
I always deny those requests in my outlook without even a single thought, no matter who it came from.
I’m not a parent and am never going to be and even I appreciate this article.
I’m living in a rented accommodation. The WiFi is provided / setup by the owner and I don’t have admin access on the router. :( I can only troubleshoot the laptop side of things.
