Am I the only person who has seen (multiple times over the years) busted open hard-shell luggage on airports’ baggage claim belt, but never seen a ripped soft-side luggage there?

Whenever I’ve tried to use Uber / Lyft’s advance booking feature, the price is always ~$15 costlier than booking on time. 

Last time I returned to Seattle from an international trip, it took me 45 mins to get my baggage and another 45 minutes to clear the passport control (general queue). ¯\_(ツ)_/¯
